It includes prohibition of harmful substance tests and limitation of legally regulated substances; that is; chemicals and parameters for health care. There are four product categories of Oeko-Tex® for the tested product by taking the actual use of the Textile into consideration.


As the contact of a product to the skin increases, criteria towards human ecology that must be stipulated becomes harder. Within the detailed laboratory tests, all components of an item have to comply with the required criteria without exception. Such products may be labeled promoted by the producer with Oeko-Tex®. Validity of the certificate issued is for one year and can be extended upon request.

Certification made according to Oeko-Tex® 100 Standard offers a range of advantages to the Textile and ready-made wear companies aiming to offer the customers problem free products in terms of health: Modular structure principle of the standard stipulates to test and certification of Textile products at every stages. By using the certificates of previous stages/process, there is no need to make the tests twice. The responsibility of the products quality towards human ecology is of those who change the products in terms of qualitative and/or chemical way during processing. By this way, Ready-made sellers, the last chain of the consumption chain are able to certificate their collections at a reasonable cost. Oeko-Tex Criteria list applied worldwide offering a standard requirement profile in terms of procurement and delivery conditions facilitates and accelerates flow of information. This plus point of transparency has internal quality system operating through short production cycles.












GLOBAL ORGANIC TEKSTİL

The production and certification according to worldwide Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). GOTS certification includes process/production standards of GOTS in addition to use of organically grown and certified fiber. Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS); is a joint study of standard associations operating in Textile processing industry such as International Association Natural Textile Industry (IVN), Germany, Soil Association (SA),England, Organic Trade Association (OTA),USA, Japan Organic Cotton Association (JOCA), Japan, … International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM),Japan.

It defines organic Textile with worldwide criteria in order to offers a definite assurance to the customers from production with environmental and social responsibility, raw material harvest, labeling to the end consumer.   

It enables processors and producers to export organic fabric and clothes to large markets with only worldwide certificate.
